Basildon Cake Boxes has been under Graham’s ownership since 2020, when he took over the business from a friend who was retiring. What began as a small lifestyle business has since grown into a specialist supplier serving customers across the baking industry.
With around 30 years of experience in baking, Graham already understood one of the biggest frustrations bakers face: finding cake boxes that are genuinely strong enough for stacking, carrying and transporting cakes safely.
Too many boxes on the market simply did not offer the strength or practicality needed, particularly for taller and more delicate cakes. That experience helped shape the Basildon Cake Boxes range and continues to influence the products the business develops today.
Made with Bakers in mind
Our customers range from home bakers and small independent cake makers through to larger bakeries and independent bakery suppliers.
Many of our standard products, as well as our bespoke cake boxes, are made on demand. This allows us to respond to what bakers actually need rather than relying solely on a fixed range of off-the-shelf packaging.
We are particularly proud of being among the first to introduce tall cake boxes, alongside our growing range of extra long boxes designed for larger and more unusual cakes.
